Aarron in the hospital, some of his last days
here on earth. Mother(Sharlene) reading to him.
We asked for a miracle and we received one.
He was only ill a short time and then he returned
to our Father in Heaven.
Adam, Loren, Mom, Dayson, and DeLona at Aarron's bedside.
Yes there were five of them, Loren was 14 months old, and
Aarron was six. Loren says he can remember crawling under the
casket at Aarron's viewing. We have a wonderful family and
friends that helped us when Aarron was in the hospital.
Our Ward helped us very much. Many prayers were said
in his behalf. We could never pay back the kindness we received.
But if any of you are reading this thank-you.
One of my favorite pictures of Aarron he is three years
old in this picture. Aarron was very athletic, he could
make baskets in a regular 10 foot basket. Some of the
sixth graders at Lindbergh like to play with him.
When he was in kindergarten he got first place in the
60 yard dash. Uncle Kirk told us the other day that
Aarron had said, "my dad can beat you up." Gary replied
to Kirk "I'm sure glad that I did not have too!" Uncle Kirk was
taller and bigger and younger than Gary.
This is Aarron, but it looks like it could be any
one of the Merrill clan...even Krew. It must
be the round cheeks.
Aarron asleep in ICU at Mesa Lutheran Hospital
before he left for eternity. He died of a brain tumor.
There wasn't anything that could be done. But now
with more than one laser beam it could be shrunk.
We are grateful for having Aarron in our home. He is
preparing the way for all of us. I believe he is a missionary
teaching others the gospel who did not have the
chance here on earth before they died. He is
a beacon for us....we have been blessed because of the
experience of having a him in our home and learning more
of the atoning sacrifice of our Saviour.

Mom, When I called you on the 7th... I meant to mention Aarron... I apologize for the conversation going else where. I do miss him... It is hard to see those pictures of him, and knowing the pain he was in. It does help knowing where he is. And Wow.. His baby picture really does resemble Krew! I thought that immediately, then read you thought so too! Too weird1 Love you Mom and Dad
I was so happy to read this post, since I didn't get to know Aarron here on earth. He was sure a cute boy! It really is a blessing to know that he is in Heaven now and that we will see him again. I'm sure he is a wonderful missionary, just like all of your other sons. You have such a great family!
I loved reading your testimony! You have such a great family, you guys take such good care of each other, and everyone, I admire that.
