Did I say it rained and hailed too!  The boys put the hail into the wagon and pulled it over to a safe place and made ice balls and threw them......what fun.
By this time Adam and Kristie and family were here
They got here Thursday evening late...Dallin and Cade were glad to see them.
I don't mean to skip to Sunday....Friday Angelene and Zack arrived and Amaron soon after... Sean got here a little later and Aaron and Rachelle showed up quite a bit later.  Loren and Anna had brake trouble and had to change brake pads before they could come up...So they got here on Saturday morning....Jon and Austin drove up after working at McDonald's on Saturday.

Sunday we had biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast and  had our meeting.....Grandpa started us out having Aunt Kristie lead us in an opening song..."Teach to me Walk in the light of His Love." and then Garrett gave an opening prayer.  Kristie then lead us in another song..."Jesus wants me to be a Sunbeam"
Grandpa then explained the Theme and told about his family coming up to the mountain with cousins and    extended family.  Grandma then told us stories about her family...William Francis Copley who was born in Germany.....and his wife Maria Judson  who was born in England....how they got to Canada and were the first LDS on Vancouver Island and recently were honored at the open house for the Vancouver Temple for being pioneers in that area.  Then each family was given a folder with letters for each grandchild and genealogy sheets to fill out.
Rachelle and Aaron then had us play a game..."How much do you know about your grandparents?"....Rachelle would ask the questions and Aaron would give candy to those who would answer correctly.  Rachelle also had Gary and; me to tell a story about us that the children could remember.  I told about my family coming up to Big Lake (and it was the only time that we did)...grandpa Lawlor accidentally broke Nephi's fishing poll when he closed the window...and it rained and rained and rained.  Grandpa told how he shot a whole thru his dad's car door.  After that we had lunch Kim made us homema rolls...Satya, Anna and Glenn(mom) made roats...Anna and Satya put carrots and potatoes in theirs....Angelenefixed  asparagus and corn...Rachelle made a nice salad, Adam and Kristie fixed mashed pototoes, Judy baked a cake in her oven....she served it with cream.
