Gary & Sharlene Merrill: The big storm & some of the trip to oregon

Thank you DeLona and family for the wonderful time in Oregon.........

Sydnee's volley ballgame....

Our tree in the front yard is getting old.....it was planted in 1972....it was shorter than Gary when we moved in....April of 1974. This happened on Monday.....then Tuesday another storm hit and it rained....hailed, and wind blew....and another limb on the tree came down and hit the Excursion and shattered the windshield.....Gary was at work but Krew and Kashlynn were with me and we were watching out the front window....it was blowing so hard and the hailed was hitting the window and making such a loud noise that Krew and Kashlynn wanted to move away from the window....

Gary used his new toy (Artic Cat) to drag the tree off the carport....

We flew to Portland on Tuesday morning October 12, 2010 so we could be part of the Lindhorst Family.

Maddy had a volleyball game that evening.....her team won....

The next day Sierra had a cross country meet.....here she is getting everything ready for the start.

We managed to follow to each spot when she appeared......Can you see DeLona on the left encouraging Sierra to go! go! Grandpa was taking pictures with his phone and texting them to Angelene and Rachelle.

After the race Sierra and her mother are talking it over...she did so good....we think that she came in 15th...tied her best time.

Cole had a football game on Thursday night....they did so good...they held Central Catholic scoreless the first half.....but CC came back in the second half and won. Cole is #21.....he looks a little disappointed
